I think this is one of the scariest episodes I've ever seen, because of the fact, you know the Daleks are up to no good, and when they start building other Daleks, you just want to scream! Troughton is really doing his best to keep the doctor slightly sane, and the suspense builds as you realize, it'll always be him, alone against them.
