Doctor Who Planet Of The Dead Thoughts

Planet of the Dead
opened, the Doctor was eating an Easter egg as I speculated, and wished us a Happy Easter!

Lady Christina de Souza didn't steal something egg related though! It was a golden challace worth £14 Million, which the Doctor ends up hammering to use as part of something to get home!

We where told by BBC Wales that untold horrors lurk beneath the sand, they weren't, they where in the air!

The Tritovores becoming iconic? I very much doubt it! And they were not cybernetic as that famous comic, the Sun, claimed (stop laughing, please!).

The BBC considered this the 200th story, the bus was number 200!

Lee Evans played a Doctor NOT a Professor as I correctly reported :) He was a fan of the Doctor, but thats all!

The Doctor is told by a passenger your song will end soon and He will knock 4 times. The song ending is from the Ood, I assume the knock 4 times is the masters tap of the fingers,

I suppose the huge plot hole you can drive a red London bus through is this - why didn't UNIT push the TARDIS through the wormhole, and why didn't the Doctor think of this?

The next episode is called The Waters of Mars, and Russell T Davies tells us it will be on november-ish.

Overall a good story, I really enjoyed it, and going to Dubai was worth it too!

I thought she said 18 million.

The song ending is definitely a nod to the Ood. Now we know Sigma meant his current regeneration for sure.

Knock 4 times a blatant reference to the Master whether she means him or not. RTD could (and almost certainly NOT) be trying to throw us off.

Sorry, I harp on little details for some reason. Heheh, I once got banned from editing the Doctor Who Wiki because I changed the article on the Dalek Flying Saucers because it ignored the differences between designs for PotW and JE. ^^;

Yes, it is a big pile of cash! I wonder how much that would be in $$$? hmm. . . .

Wow. $26,383,483.94 No wonder DWM is so much more expensive in American dollars than British pounds.

I actually think the song is connected to river song, as she had met the doctor in this incarnation before :o

theres no sign of her in the specials, but possibly studio work?

You forgot to mention that "it is returning through the dark" - pretty much what Rose warned Donna in Turn Left about the Daleks & Davros returning. Wouldn't that be something special for his big send-off? The Master teaming up with Davros.....

as long as rose dosent come too! :)
