Paul Hanley of The Space Museum made this ensemble piece to help out his friend who has recently been evicted from his own home. Without divulging any specific personal details of the situation, Paul's fellow artist is taking the worst of today's rubbish economy, and with your help, "Geronimo" could help remedy this.
This is sort of a celebration of the Whoniverse in 2010, so we've got the Doctor surrounded by his friends and companions: Amy Pond (Williams?); Rory Williams (Pond?); little Amelia Pond; K-9; Professor River Song; Sarah Jane Smith; Jo Jones (nee Grant); and... Winston Chuchill. I wanted to squeeze Van Gogh in but it would've wrecked the composition (I'm sure Vincent would understand).
If you like this piece or can at least appreciate the situation Paul's friend is in, please check out the original artwork's charity auction. The black and white ink drawing on Bristol board measures a reasonable size, is signed, and is sold with free shipping. It's charity, and it's for a great cause, but the piece itself is awesome enough without the nice deed that comes with it.
Due to my unfortunately but temporarily busy schedule, I didn't get to this until last night. I apologize, Paul and everyone else who messages us; we are always eager to take a look at any piece of fan art: just E-Mail 10thPlanet, and we may share your art right here, among other quality pieces.
EDIT: Auction only open to US bidders!
