We all assumed that the now-famous scenes of the Eleventh Doctor wearing a fez were entirely original; but one reliable fan found evidence to the contrary, suggesting that perhaps, at least on a subconscious level, Steven Moffat actually alluded to Silver Nemesis in "The Big Bang".
