The New Series Prequel Is Coming Doctor Who

The Doctor, Amy and Rory are back in action tonight for Comic Relief on BBC1. The time-travelling trio return in two unmissable scenes written by Steven Moffat, and then we only have several weeks until the new series begins! But if that sounds like too long to wait, don't worry, because the Prequel to the new series is almost here...

The BBC will be launching the Prequel to series 6 opening two-parter very soon. Its an eerie sequence written by Steven Moffat that sets the scene in scary and mysterious style. It introduces us to the world the Doctor will collide with in the next adventure and watch carefully... was that the new monster?

The Prequel to the opening episode is the first of three prequels that will premiere on this site over the course of the new series. Each offers an exclusive preview of the action and intrigue ahead and they've been made by the Doctor Who production team - so you know they're going to be special!

The first prequel stars Stuart Milligan and introduces us to story strands that will bind the Doctor - and enthral his audience - throughout the weeks ahead. We'll bring you more details soon, but be warned, it's a scary one...

Steven Moffat you are going to be arrested for stealing other peoples ideas primeval decided to have 13 episodes split into two blocks of episodes you copied that then they decided to have prequels you copied that and then if you do show the first two episodes over consecutive days then you copied that from primeval aswell what else did you copy moffat?Maybe the season midway finale will see the doctor analyse about how so many threats to earth by aliens are happening and discovering that are going to increase getting more and more until they're is too many threats for the doctor to stop causing total devastation.

but us tv did it before primeval, so they will be arrested too, and as for prequels, movies have done them for years!

Well... Who cares about it being stolen from anywhere? It's an awesome idea.

@ Dalek1099 - Splitting a show into two blocks, showing two episodes consecutively, and having prequels doesn't constitute copyright violation...those are marketing strategies that belong to the public domain!

Now, if he had suddenly decided to include a weird glow-y thing that was a portal to prehistoric times, then you might have a case for idea theft, but as it stands, no theft occurred.
