Life on Mars actress Liz White has joined the cast of this years Doctor Who Christmas Special.

On set pictures from the episode have been revealed and show Liz White In Victorian Era clothing and will feature alongside Matt Smth, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Richard E Grant and Tom Ward.

As well as new characters in this episode, we also have two returning characters. Madame Vastra and Jenny as played by Neve McIntosh and Catrin Stewart have both been spotted on set which could hint at the possibility of the pair having a relationship with Jenna-Louise Coleman's Character Clara in her Début episode.
