If you thought the news of a new TARDIS Interior for the Christmas Special was big, Legendary actor Sir Ian Mckellen will be bringing his voicing talent to The Snowmen this Christmas Day.

The Radio Times were first to recognise the voice after seeing a preview of this years Christmas Special, starring Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman. Although it is not a guest role in person, Sir Ian will be voicing the role of The Snowmen, the creepy villains in this years episode.

Sir Ian has been in many huge roles including X-Men, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, which is released this month, starring alongside Martin Freeman (Sherlock) and The Seventh Doctor actor Sylvester McCoy.
