It is with the deepest regret that Life, Doctor Who & Combom have to report that Bernard Horsfall passed away earlier this week, aged 82.The actor was best known for his role as Time Lord Chancellor Goth in classic Doctor Who.
Bernard actually played more than one character in the classic era of the show and first appeared alongside the second Doctor Patrick Troughton in The Mind Robber (1968) as Lemuel Gulliver. He also played a Time Lord in The War Games (1969) and Taron in Planet of the Daleks (1973).
Our thoughts are with Bernard's family and friends during this difficult time.

I remember him best as Taron. I must have watched that episode a hundred times as a kid.
