In a recent interview with Radio Times, Jenna-Louise Coleman stated that her favourite episode of the new series is next weeks episode, The Rings of Akhaten, which promises to be emotional and adventurous.

Coleman later added that The Rings of Akhaten is "Clara's first experience of an alien world, realising what life will be like to travel with the Doctor."

The Rings of Akhaten airs on 6th April on BBC One and is written by first-time writer Neil Cross, who also has written episode nine, Hide.
