Amy Pond didn't get one, but it looks like Karen Gillan's well on her way...
Gillan may have just scored a major hollywood role in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, due out next year, but she has also completed filming a number of independent films.  Alongside horror flick Oculus with Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), there's also this little number.  Filmed on location in Glasgow, Scotland, Not Another Happy Ending is a romantic comedy about an author who finds that she is suffering from writer's block after releasing her first successful novel.  She stars opposite Stanley Weber, last seen on UK television as the Duke of Orleans from Shakespeare's Henry V in The Hollow Crown.  The eagle-eyed amongst you will also have spotted Henry Ian Cusick from Lost and Gary Lewis, who played Alator in two episodes of Merlin.

Okay, rom-coms aren't usually a big thing in Who-fandom (Love & Monsters, anyone?), but if you do like that kind of thing, or just like seeing Karen Gillan on your screens, you might want to keep an eye out for this one.  Not Another Happy Ending premieres at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 30th June.
