See Classic Companions by the Sea This Weekend.

Stars of Time, Weston-super-Mare's 'premier science fiction and entertainment event', is happening this weekend and there will be a few Doctor Who notables to celebrate the anniversary year.  Alongside a former Bond Girl offering helicopter rides and Chris Barrie from Red Dwarf, there will be not one, not two, not even three, but four former companions.  Anneke Wills (Polly alongside the first and second Doctors), Wendy Padbury (the second Doctor's Zoe), Katy Manning (Jo Grant) and Louise Jameson (Leela) will all be sharing their experiences from the show.  A handful of other Doctor Who stars will be there as well, including John  Levene (U.N.I.T.'s Sergeant Benton) and Jon Davey, who has played many monsters in the new series.

As a bonus there will be a question and answer session with Doctor Who script editor, Andrew Cartmel and there is also a Dalek show and a 'corridor of monsters'. If you get bored of these Whovian attractions, you can always try your hand at the Jedi Knight lightsaber training academy (oh, you know you want to!)

Stars of Time is happening this weekend at the Helicopter Museum in Weston.  Opening hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10am to 5.30pm and tickets cost £10 for an adult and £6.50 for a child.  You can find more information on the event, who else will be in attendance and on which day you can expect to find your favourite companion at http://www.starsoftime.co.uk/.
