The Return of Sil.

January 2014 sees the start of a new trilogy from Big Finish featuring the Sixth Doctor and Flip Jackson. Doctor Who: Antidote to Oblivion begins the trilogy, and features the return of the popular 80s villain: Sil.

“Rogue trader Sil is a villain as relevant to 2014 as he was to 1985,” says Alan Barnes, “and he’s played, as always, by the brilliant Nabil Shaban.”

The trilogy continues in Doctor Who: The Blood of Erys, in which the abduction of Flip leads the Doctor to the planet Asphya and its mysterious moon Erys…

The adventures conclude in Doctor Who: Scavenger, a near-future adventure in which an Anglo-Indian mission to rid the stratosphere of space junk goes horribly wrong when a so-called 'zombie satellite' returns to life. . The stories will focus on companion Flip's recklessness, which almost had her killed in several of her appearances early last year.

All three stories in the trilogy will be available from Big Finish's website from March 2014, priced at £14.99 each on CD, and £12.99 each for a download copy.

Sil and the mentors need to make an appearance in the new series. They were the "Ferengi" of the Doctor Who universe.
