Toby Hadoke Doctor Who double bill for one night only.

Actor, writer, comedian and massive Doctor Who fan Toby Hadoke has announced that he will be performing both of his Who-themed one man stand-up shows together, just before the 50th Anniversary.  The special double bill performance of Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf and My Stepson Stole My Sonic Screwdriver is being staged at the Garrick Theatre in London for one night only and it is the first time the two shows have ever been put on together.

Moths... was a success with critics and fans alike at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and toured across the UK and internationally over three years.  My Stepson Stole  My Sonic Screwdriver was written in response to huge demand for a sequel and was performed at the Fringe last year.  It has been touring throughout 2013.  The synopses are as follows:
Moths Ate  My Doctor Who Scarf:  Get out from behind that sofa and get aboard Toby Hadoke's TARDIS on a trip through time - charting the rise, fall and rise again of a television legend. This show is a personal, satirical and razor sharp comic odyssey from child to man, through obsession, joy and disappointment.
My Stepson Stole My Sonic Screwdriver:  Join Toby as he takes you on a heart-warming journey that begins with losing a partner, ends with gaining a stepson and pays homage to the restorative powers of the Time Lord in between. Intimate knowledge of the TARDIS is not required to enjoy these bittersweet comedies of parenting through sci-fi evangelism: Hadoke's compelling and incisive shows are universal in appeal.
The performance will take place on Sunday 17th November at 7pm.  Ticket prices start at £21.  You can find more information and book tickets online here.
