Are Colin Baker, Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy Protesting About Lack of Classic Doctor Who in 50th?

Highly unlikely, but nevertheless Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy have been pictured outside BBC Television Centre with signs that read "No Classics? No 50th!!" and "Have a heart, Classic Doctors Want A Part", pictured above. Colin Baker, while not pictured, has also been reported as being present by @Kronoc, who provided the pictures. They have also been pictured, below, with a camera and a boom mic. He commented that "there were 2 cameras there; one close to them and one on my side of the road. They were trying to keep a low profile."

With the 50th having finished filming months ago, it's questionable what they would hope to achieve if they really are protesting and it certainly doesn't seem like them. There's more than meets the eye here. Perhaps they are filming an extras documentary for the 50th DVD/BD release and the signs are tongue-in-cheek?

It all certainly seems a bit unprofessional if it's not a joke- The Light At The End is a solid way to include classic Doctors without unnecessary explanatory exposition in the 50th of their older appearance.

It's got to be filming some sort of joke protest for the 50th anniversary, do you really think they would protest with hand made placards? Seriously?

This will show up, if not on TV then at conventions in the future. These guys are all well respected pros, they all still work and perform, believe me, this is all in fun.

It could be something for Children in Need since that's in a couple of months.

Barrowman's reportedly there now as well.

Peter Davison does humorous videos for conventions, and I think he and Colin Baker promised one for the 50th Anniversary if they didn't get parts. This is probably something along those lines

Just brilliant. Oh and look at the top Peter Davison has on...

There is, also, the possibility that it could be Big Finish's idea to promote "The Light At The End" as the anniversary special WITH the classic Doctors.

This demonstration demands the presence of Charlie Sheen.
