An Adventure in Space And Time Roundup of News And Interviews

A few pieces of news and interviews surrounding the Docudrama have been released lately.

Australian Broadcaster ABC have confirmed they will air it on Sunday 24th November at 8:45, directly after a repeat of The Day of the Doctor and are the first to give a time. So far, we also know that it will be shown at the BFI on Tuesday 12th November and on BBC America on the 24th too. We do not know when it will air on the UK on BBC Two, despite conflicting claims from sources such as The Independant that it will air either just before the 50th or the week before. The BBC claim that it will air between 16th and the 22nd.

The Synopsis has been released by the BBC. It reads:

This special one-off drama travels back in time to 1963 to see how the beloved Doctor Who was first brought to the screen.
Actor William Hartnell felt trapped by a succession of hard-man roles. Wannabe producer Verity Lambert was frustrated by the TV industry’s glass ceiling. Both of them were to find unlikely hope and unexpected challenges in the form of a Saturday tea-time drama, time travel and monsters!
Allied with a team of brilliant people, they went on to create the longest-running science fiction series ever, now celebrating its 50th anniversary.
A few interviews of the cast and crew are available:

Two new official posters have been released by the BBC.
