The best way to watch it is live on your own TV. Check out this list to see which channels to view it in your country.
But a lot of people won't be able to watch it on BBC1, BBC America or anywhere else. They'll be required to either stream it online or watch it afterwards so here's are the top ways to stream it live online:
Please note that regardless of your online viewing method, it is delayed, so you'll probably find out via Twitter/Facebook/Chatbox up to a minute or two before it comes through.
- I've collected together a few online streaming sites and embeds. You can access this here.
- It says it on the front page, but I'll say it here. A LOT of free online sites put up tons of adverts that are a pain. Make sure you have Adblock installed, and look out for the close button (the X's) on any popups/adverts that may appear. Some sites are a real stinker.
- If you wish to chat, please create a Chatango account. I will most likely block anons as it will get extremely crowded.
- Use Hola Unblocker or Media Hint to access the iPlayer BBC 1 live stream.
- Please note, that these are not recommended due to privacy concerns. They work by routing all your traffic through their servers. Servers and bandwidth need to be paid for and the only thing they have from you is all your activity through their services. If you use them, install it for the stream and uninstall afterwards.

As usual, we will put up download and streaming links however (also as usual), the priority will be on getting the episode up to stream and download on Doctor Who Media. Please register now because we will undoubtedly be swarmed with traffic and therefore we will need to close signups and perhaps even need to take further action. (Also, don't keep refreshing. Each refresh takes resources and hundreds of people doing it at once will affect site performance.)

Please note: I'm going to be at viewing party for the broadcast, and therefore not at home. The special is also a lot longer than it is normally. Pour les fans français qui trainent dans le coin et qui comme moi n'auraient pas la télévision, l'episode est diffusé sur France4 à 20h50 mais également sur Pluzz (le service de VOD et Direct) qui depuis octobre permet de mettre en VO.
For the french fan around who doesn't have TV like me, know that France4 will air the episode at 8:50 (France) and on Pluzz (VOD and Live service) wich allow you to switch to the original version (without the french dub) since october.
You need a TV license to access the BBC livestream. :/

There is a lovely little program called Tunnel Bear that is reasonably priced that comes in very handy to watch TV programs from other countries. Google it.

...I highly doubt they'd wait that long - quite a few of the fans will have gotten it via unofficial sources by then.
Absolutely devastating... not a single cinema here shwos it and nto a single channel, even expensive sub offers it.

I'm glad you posted this. SO many sites I've found have purported to know where to watch online and have linked to the sites where you can, except those sites are only showing previews. It's sad it took me about three hours to find someone who gave a straight answer - that full online viewing has been delayed - but I'm glad you did.
