Doctor Who Soundtrack: Limited TARDIS Boxset Full Information and Pre-orders Open Soon!

Silva Screen have released full details of the special TARDIS Boxset release.

This unprecedented collection of seminal music from the BBC TV series, Doctor Who, is being produced as a one-off limited release.  DOCTOR WHO: THE TARDIS EDITION is a boxed set of eleven CDs collecting Original Soundtrack music from 50 years of Doctor Who and housing them in a specially constructed TARDIS.
Composer and BBC Radiophonic Workshop Archivist Mark Ayres has spent over a year researching, compiling, editing and mastering the set with the principle work being done on the first seven discs which will showcase much material being released for the first time. The initial fruits of this work being made available last year as the four CD release – Doctor Who: The 50th Anniversary Collection.

The set will include a 52-page booklet on the history of the music. The discs will come in individually packaged-DVD cases all packaged in a painted-wood TARDIS (that flashes and makes noises).

The set consists of the most popular tracks from throughout Doctor Who's era. The full track listing can be seen here.

The pre-order window opens at 10am on the 25th of April and closes at 10am on the 2nd of May.

You must order within the pre-order window to receive one. Silva Screen will be making the exact number pre-ordered and "no more". It will only be available directly from Silva Screen, nowhere else.

The price will be £135 plus postage, which is £10 for UK, £36 for EU and £76 for ROW.
