LEAKED: Series 8 Episodes 1-5 Scripts

BBC Worldwide have asked us to remove the original article, however they have made a statement to the RadioTimes apologising for the mishap; “BBC Worldwide is currently investigating a security issue around Doctor Who Series 8 where unfinished material has inadvertently been made public. We deeply regret this and apologise to all the show's fans, the BBC and the cast and crew who have worked tirelessly making the series.
“We would like to make a plea to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen when it launches. We know only too well that Doctor Who fans are the best in the world and we thank them for their help with this and their continued loyalty."
The scripts are understood to have been disseminated online after being sent to the BBC Worldwide’s newly opened Latin America headquarters in Miami for translation.

“The opening episode is being simulcast globally so of course translations have to be prepared in advance,” said a BBC source.

No, it would be horrid if you wanted to then tell everyone about them afterwards. I didn't see the version of the article that was taken down, but I truly hope no plot information was provided. The problem is you (ShowMeTheStars) might be quite happy to keep the information to yourself, but there are those who will post spoilers far and wide just to be trolls. The Twitter page dedicated to promoting the protection of spoilers in Doctor Who just had someone post a plot spoiler. It's hard to defend against.

Why would it be? The only possible negative of spoilers is if you want to go into the new episode fresh. If you'd rather read the scripts sooner it's not like you're hurting anybody.

Fake, Doctor Who is shot in 25fps

I can't believe you are going to abide with what the BBC said after releasing that trailer to Americans at comicon for DOTD and not online to loyal UK taxpayers.I think it serves the BBC just right for trying to keep everything secret.

Episodes 2-5 (and presumably onwards) are 25fps, it's not known why but episode 1 IS 24fps. The leak was true.

I can't believe you're still around. The BBC politely asked anyone with them not to post them elsewhere, and any website that did to remove them. There is no reason why we wouldn't listen to the BBC, it's their content and was a mistake being not archived properly causing the leak. The release of a trailer at comic con last year has no impact to this conversation, they do it every time they have a panel and last year was no different. Comic Con users pay to go to the event, BBC is paid for by British Taxpayers yes, but is also funded through sales Worldwide, it's not loyal taxpayers property, it's the BBC's, they have a right to keep whatever they want secret, and if you don't respect their or own on decision on this matter, go elsewhere. You shan't be missed. Anyone who has it, good for them but please respect the BBC's decision to trust fans not to share it or repost it.

The BBC have confirmed they're real....

I found them easily on-line, or at least what I think is them. What I'm reading of "Deep Breath" seems like a plausible plot for the 12th Doctor's first episode, but without discussing the details with others who have read it or giving spoilers I can't be sure. If what I'm reading is a fake, it's so far a very good approximation of what I expect a Moffat story to be like. It could just be some fan trying to piece together things we have seen them film in public into a story.

The opening describes one hell of an ambitious special effect which I have every confidence they can pull off because it's somewhat like something we've seen before, and more than once, with a sort of thread to a classic Doctor story in a way. There are shades of "Xmas Invasion" in a shook-up newly regenerated Doctor about it to me (which we saw anyway in Capaldi's regen scene last Xmas), though it also shares similarities with 10th and 11th Doctor scripts, but I can't tell you why without a heck of a spoiler about what is happening in it. If this is real, the populace of London is a very disbelieving what they see right before their eyes in the Doctor's Universe.

I'm not sure I'll read it to the end or any of the others, but it was a nice read so far. If it's real, I like it and would wish we got a trailer for it because what I read so far I can pick out all sorts of lines and scenes that would be thrilling and wouldn't give anything about the plot away, other than it's setting and when it takes place. I don't feel like I'm cheating myself because if this is really what they shot, it will be spectacular.

Where did you find them? Please, tell me!

It really wasn't that hard to find the leaks and might I just say I'm VERY excited to see how the season turns out. I've seen the first episode and read the first 3 scripts (starting the fourth here in a bit) and from what I'm reading I think I like. It all depends on how it is executed onscreen.

I downloaded all 5 scripts and both of the leaked 1st and 2nd episodes of series 8. I feel a bit guilty....
Although I haven't read the scripts or watched the second episode yet. And I only watched the first episode after I had already seen it properly at the premiere. So I haven't really spoiled anything, :D
