According to the Radio Times, the BBC have edited a decapitation in the climatic fight scene between Robin Hood and Sheriff due to the recent beheadings in Iraq and Syria, which took place in the past month.

A spokesman for the BBC said: "In light of recent news events, we have made an edit to episode three out of respect."
