Red Riding On Channel 4 Report

I've spent the last three weeks following Red Riding on Channel 4, and I can't say I'm that impressed, I guess I hoped the next part was going to be better, twice!

The series, set in 1974, 1980, and 1983 - are based on three of four books from David Peaces Red Riding Quartet. Part three made parts 1 and 2 seem better (in a similar way Back to the Future part 3 made 1 and 2 good!), and I fail to see what all the fuss in the press was about, its a work of fiction, do governments complain about V for Vendetta?

Its all about corrupt policemen and murders of children and prostitutes including the Yorkshire Ripper case. There some pretty nasty stuff in here too, so be warned! You can see them on catchup here - 1974, 1980, 1983.

Overall, Red Riding looked like a good series, but didn't deliver!

Heres a Newsnight Review.

Heres a trailer...
