Doctor Who Character Cards Revealed Crucial ''Impossible Astronaut'' Spoilers

This is what happened to the images.
Character cards for Doctor Who Series 6 "The Impossible Astronaut" have been released, and they both confirm and reveal some huge—and by "huge" I mean enormousspoilers.

Major correction: However, shortly after posting these card collections, we and a host of other sites were contacted by the BBC. That's almost never good, but they were kind and understanding.
These images are owned by the BBC and by BBC Magazines and relate to episodes that have not yet been broadcast. The card was not intended for public release yet because we're keen not to spoil the upcoming episodes for Doctor Who fans, but a technical issue that we're investigating means that some DW fans were made aware of it in a Google Alert overnight and are now circulating the images without our permission.
We are delighted that your site users are so interested in the trading cards - we hoped that they would really appeal to big fans of the show. However, we are keen that these don't spoil the surprise of the next season's episodes for other fans and so we're taking steps today to track down and prevent unauthorised uses of our images.

Naturally, we felt obliged to remove the cards, so there should be no trace left of them here. While this blog should always be considered a spoiler, we tread carefully. Though we attempt to be comprehensive, sometimes a necessary roadblock steps in the way to preserve the exciting twists and turns for which we love Doctor Who.

We will nevertheless reference some speculation that was confirmed by the cards, the speculation that we and our readers were, after all, able to piece together from trailers and interviews and plain old logic. But we won't blatantly point out what's confirmed and what isn't. It just goes to show that you should always check this site daily; you'll probably miss something mistakenly unauthorised that we have to quickly delete. It's just your luck and the frequency with which you visit us!

These all came from io9 and were pointed out to us by Bobbi. So now you know who to blame.

These aren't mean't to be released yet? Surely Doctor Who Monster Invasion could take legal action or something to get them removed.

Wait, I read somewhere else that Amy's talleys were not a way to keep track of the silence. How accurate is this?

You can see the little girl is Amelia Pond. Where are these cards from?

TWO THINGS:

First, you're missing a card that says the Silence built the Astronaut's suit.

Second, @ Mujie, you can actually see that the little girl is NOT, repeat NOT Amelia Pond (besides, it would have said it was anyway on the card since we've already seen her and I think they have a card for her already).

OK, so I lied, THIRD, does this mean each individual monster is called a Silent, while two or more/the whole species/race/group are called the Silence?

The Silence isn't 1 creature, it's a collective (was described as like the borg, 1 name for the whole race)

you need to remove these, the BBC are asking all sites to remove them, includling gallifrey base, they have been leaked and you should remove them asap

I can't believe that spoiler about Richard Nixon! He stopped being President? Who knew??

The BBC are actively asking everyone who has posted them includling the gallifrey base site, doctor who uk, facebook pages and other social network sites, includling tumblr, twitter and facebook, fb pages have had copyright rules used on them to take them down, gallifrey base removed them, so as doctor who uk, its just a friendly heads up, choose how you want to act on it, personally I would remove them before asked to do so.

they haven't asked us yet, we never go by internet rumours, for a start we need proper bbc email. seeing as we get well over 10,000 hits a day you would think they would ask us, so this may be just the rumour-mill working overtime :)
