Happy 2009! What will it bring us I wonder? Well there are four more Doctor Who adventures, which will probably have Confidentials too, then there is the Torchwood five part series called Children of Earth in the late spring, possibly with Declassifieds, and we have The Sarah Jane Adventures Season three in the autumn, and perhaps something for Children In Need also! Plus they have to announce the next Doctor before filming starts! So its not all so bleak!
Sadly Peace on Earth seems impossible :( All the best everyone, may 2009 be the year you deserve!

Apparently the final two specials are a two-parter, and air in early 2010. The first one (Planet of the Dead), in 2009, will be on at Easter, and the last, second one in 2009 will be on Christmas!
thats just a forum rumour, rtd says all are to be shown in 2009 :) i suppose we will see!
There will be four in 2009, which I would assume that means that the final special will be Christmas 2009, with series 5 starting as it always does around April-ish 2010.
This is only my guess, but I have two theories:
1) Easter, Summer, and then a two parter starting in the Fall and concluding on Christmas.
OR...
2) Easter, Summer (or Fall), and then the two parter starting Christmas Day and concluding on Boxing Day. Not sure if sitting around the telly is taboo on Boxing Day, though, so that may be my American ignorance talking. I have this theory as a back up in case they want to have the two-parter back-to-back rather than spread out over a month or two, which to me would be rather aggravating to have to wait a couple months to find out what happened in the cliffhanger.
Oh, by the way, happy New Year! It's almost 2:30 am here in California, but close enough. ;)
i think the last 2 will be at xmas 09, prob on different days, we know easter, so prob #2 will be at august

I hope the adventures of this year bring the Doctor to Spain (the Sisxth Doctor has meet Peri in Lanzarote, right?). See the TARDIS in my country is a old dream ;)
