MAJOR SPOILERS! - The Fickle finger of fate chooses...

So, It's out there, the person who meets their match in Episode 5 of Series 7, But Dare you read?

This is probably one of the biggest spoilers we have posted and you need to be sure you want to read it before you click read more!

The Death that happens in the scene pictured below is Rory Williams, it is currently unclear if he will return back alive and then something will happen to Amy but as of this moment, Rory is the character whom dies.

Now Rory has come back many times... (In my personal count, probably different to yours he has died 7 times) but that doesn't mean he will come back this time, as from what it seems, this is pretty final!

From what we know the episode so far goes like this:

Amy, Rory and The Doctor travel to New York in 1918 and settle down for a peaceful trip, while getting coffee for Amy and himself Rory is sent back in time by a Weeping Angel. When the Doctor and Amy finally locate Rory, he’s an old man. He dies shortly after and Amy is left a widow. The Doctor and Amy then visit Rory's funeral where there are still Weeping Angels about...

The scene filmed today in the cemetery is thought to be Rory’s funeral as well as a wake scene to be filmed soon.

These are filming images posted earlier today:

Has the TARDIS gotten infected?

An angel, assuming a weeping one.

Here's what I hope happens. Amy gets zapped at the funeral and goes back to the same time as Rory. They grow old together. After Amy gets sent back, old Amy steps out from behind a tree or something and says goodbye to the Doctor, before dying herself. Alternatively, they see that the tombstone next to where Rory is buried is Amy's, she'd been sent back and died shortly before Amy and the Doctor found Rory.

The filming picture on the final one shows 2 graves covered up...maybe your right...why cover up 2 graves...

I suspect the seeds of the ultimate fate of Rory, Amy and River go back to River's parting words to the Doctor, "Don't you dare!" With the guilt of getting everyone killed because they knew him the Doctor will once again declare "Time is not the boss of me!" and undo them ever knowing him. I'll lay odds that we see young Amy and Rory back in the 1990s too. I can't believe that Moffat will send the Ponds out ultimately on wet, weepy note, no matter what he merrily hints at...

"whom dies?"

Tom Shearsmith said...

"whom", used instead of “who” as the object of a verb. ;)

Well done. I've never seen three incorrect facts in one sentence before.

What a very good idea. It must be very hard not to blink when you're crying.

Erm, don't you mean "Amy, Rory and The Doctor travel to New York in 2018"? I think it makes more sense that they're initially having a picnic in 2018 (pretty sure the Super Bowl didn't exist in 1918), and THEN Rory gets sent back to 1918. Just my thoughts.

(Unless the scenes filmed in 2018 were just one big red herring, but you probably know better than I do.)

Yeah! A) Moffat has NEVER been predictable! B) This is a predictable conclusion at all and he has never had a predictable series finale C) This isn't a series finale... not eve the mid-break!

I think Amy is going to be turned into an angel. That last photo of the statue covered up would be her.
