Overnight viewing figures for Dinosaurs on a Spaceship show that the episode achieved 5.5 million viewers with a 26.2% share of the total audience.

The ratings topped BBC One for the day and came second overall, with once again The X factor on ITV1 winning the night with 8.2 million. Ant and Dec's Red or Black? took third and fourth place achieving 3.4 million viewing also on ITV1.
The rating compares to last years second story on the Autumn Run, Night Terrors, which also had 5.5 million watching, but had a lower audience share and lost out to Red or Black?

The episodes ratings put Doctor Who in 15th Place for the week, with Sunday's ratings still to come. Final consolidated figures will be available next week.
